Green Technology and Business Law

Today I attended a class from the Practicing Law Institute on Green Technology and Business Law.  This course was offered at PLI’s headquarters on 7th Avenue in NYC.  Topics ranged from venture capitalization of emerging technologies to intellectual property of recycling/reusing to cap and trade.  The class was recorded for future webcasting and I must wholeheartedly recommend it.  The speakers ranged from lawyers to money men to deal makers and it was invaluable to get the varying perspectives of how the green market will play out over the next few years.  I found myself in several discussions about my past solar cell installations and energy conservation through electronics work.
